    Condition Zero: Source?

HL2Fallout.com has stated from an e-mail by Erik Johnson from the French Half-Life fansite, Vossey.com, that Counter-Strike: Condition Zero will indeed be ported over to Source. As a result, the following is the current list of confirmed ported mods: Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat, Team Fortress, and Condition Zero.
Will CZ ever be ported into source?

    Yes -Erik Johnson

I want to see some screens for DoD source. I mean, I'm not a fan of DoD but the maps are so cluttered it could probably look really cool in CS:S.

Glad to hear this from a more official source...someone on the steampowered.com forums posted an e-mail that was supposedly from Gabe Newell himself back on June 23, but I had some doubt as to how legit it could be.

sounds like a lot of fun.

I think the source engine will only enhance the gameplay of DoD. I am a fan of it, so I look forward to DoD:S. I only fear that it may become something as Battlefield:Vietnam and lose the DoD feel.

This is stupid, do we really need another version of counter-strike? Nope.

Condition Zero is like a small upgrade to Counter-Strike, why does CS: S need another upgrade and divide the community up?

I completely support porting CZ over to the Source engine, it will help prevent CZ owners from feeling ripped off.

Like some of you, though, I'm wondering exactly what CZ: Source can possibly offer over CS: Source.

I'm really hoping that things like the enhanced hostage AI will be found in regular CS: Source, and that was one of the prime non-graphical features of CZ.

                  What's left?

so if ppl buy HL2 they get the original CS:S, but u have to buy CS:CZ to get CZ:S?

I personally cannot wait for the inevitable Desert Combat-esque mod for HL2.

Also it is noteworthy that a kit will be released that allows for a conversion of all HL1-based mods to the Source Engine.

Yay! TFC-Source! The TFC days were the best of all gaming times, hands down.
