also.. he only mentions CS:S having the old CS code (5 years old) and taking advantage of the new Source engine... where did he state that CS:S uses 5 years old engine?

and Smurf... who in the hell would stand erect all the time in a gun fight with bullets flying all over the place..?? wanna get shot in the head? after all.. headshot is the special feature in CS.. why not make this easier by making all the damn models stand erect while running?

and jeezus christo.. who's keep bringing on about the damned "eggheaded" terrorists??? it's ridiculous! They're wearing masks that covers up their whole entire head for god sakes... what do you expect!?!?

I think people that have the hardware will switch to CS:S, so long as they don't change the gameplay at all. You can rest assured that if theres even so much as a the slightest change, the "l337 veterans" will start a flamewar, petition, and a club about how 0.way-back-in-the-day was better; bunny-hopping and all that. I'm looking forward to CS:S, and any new changes it could bring.

watched the video. graphics look amazing. gameplay looks about the same. the only thing that bugs me are the player animations. i prefer the current ones to the ones i saw in the video. the cs2 ones seem to skate around the floor and just move way to "smoothly".

Ahh it looks so awesome. I've always wished for alot of games that they wouldn't change them, just make them alot prettier. Of course the games I wanted that to happen to never did, but CS is close enough.

Theres a good chance those will be changed by release. I doubt those small little touches were first on valves to-do list.

There are definitely some movement animation bugs when running. You can see them quite clearly near the beginning of the "cs_source_NARICS2" video when the CTs are leaving their spawn. Looks like theyre skating
