Every summer my Korean friend Dustin goes to South Korea to live in Seoul with his dad for June and July. He invited me to go along last year and this year, but theres that whole North Korea thing lol and my parents are somewhat paranoid :|

I doubt that Valve's PR people are so dumb that they will schedule a major event in the middle of a run down shack in a muddy field....while it rains on their Alienware PC's.
I see why Valve decided to hold an exhibition there.. I mean.. they even air the freaking game tournament on a game exclusive TV channel (I found about 5 while I was there).

yeah and btw... American is really bashed for being racist, but tbh its only a few people who are. however, a lot of immigrants (in my area Chinese, Indians, Koreans, and some various Europeans) are extremely racist. i know this cause i work with a city council and i have to talk with many people. A lot of the immigrants try to act gangster here because they think acting like a rapper will make them look more intimidating to the current population. the conclusion is that people dont like anything extremely different. SO YOU GUYS STOP BEING RACIST AND GETTING MAD BECAUSE SOME OTHER COUNTRY GETS TO PLAY WITH THE TOYS FIRST (and those from Korea you have no reason to be racist back as well)Comment

You know why they put the demo to Korea? Here are my reasons.
They wants to show their work in localization.
They wants to show to the "Boxed" in gaming city.
They wants to promote this as fast as they can, since as I said above.
