It's strange that they would start of in Seoul but then again, maybe we just dont know how much gaming goes on down there with regards to Counter Strike. I doubt that Valve's PR people are so dumb that they will schedule a major event in the middle of a run down shack in a muddy field....while it rains on their Alienware PC's.

What is it with people and dumb comments about asians here? The reason why they're showing it off in Korea first is because of how big gaming is there. South Korea (percentage wise) has more people that access broadband services, and when it comes to technology, they're pretty damn far ahead of us too. Along with Japan. I guess they want to build up the hype there first, no big deal, just wait for your high-res pics and videos.

Be aware that you've got to have a invitation ticket to enter the place where CS:S will be presented - if you're not a reporter or a representative of a PC-Bang, they will be presented two-hour earlier than public visitors. So, for those who are packing outside of Korea now, unpack it, sorry. Anyway, it is interesting to see that many CS fans in Korea actually showed strong will to participate the event even though the notoriousness of the event organizer - also a partnership company of Valve in Korea, StyleNetwork, has been outrageous due to their arrogant business attitude. Bottom line? I will go there anyway to see with my eyes what it looks like. -_-
