That's a good point, actually and I don't think I've heard anyone mention it yet. Seeing as objects can have mass and all set, that could help determine whether bullets go through a wall or not. However if I remember correctly you would have to then set every wall in the map as a phys_ object. I don't know whether this would hurt performance or not. It's an interesting thought, though.
what about shooting through the walls in this new engine?

I COMPLETELY agree with u.. and everyone else should.
Yeah. Maybe after CS:S is released, they'll release another retail CS that'll improve the game as much as CZ did! Oh... never mind...
Fact is, you're judging a product that isn't even out yet. Heck, it's not even a product! Stop whining. VALVe has been getting WAY more bashing than it deserves. If it was half as bad as most of you guys state, there wouldn't be a CS:Source. CS:S is completely free, so what can you say, you get what you payed for!
and please don't get all high and mighty about how you deserve MORE as a customer of VALVe. You barely show them enough respect for what they've already given you, let alone for what they're trying to do for you in HL2 with CS:S. In fact, not only are they updating CS to Source, but DoD, TFC, Opposing Force, Blue Shift, and Half-Life 1! Really do you think them trying to run Steam, plus convert all these games, plus trying to include all these new features will leave them enough time to absolutely polish everything to the last except for HL2? They'll be adding vehicles for crying out loud!
If you guys are such conniseurs of modelling and skinning, maybe you can show up VALVe by making your OWN version of CS, or maybe you could make your own models for it. Seriously, if VALVe was out to get you, they wouldn't have bought CS, they wouldn't be updating, and they wouldn't be trying to make it better.
I type too much... bah...
and you guys really do not seem to realize how detailed the T model looks in the screenshot, and this is partly because of his so called "egg-head".. Top of his head looks as if his head didn't completely fill up all his ski mask's space.. therefore, little space is left on top of his ski mask and is flopping backwards... I call that a great detail. I mean.. you cannot expect a mask meant for only one size to fit anyone perfectly to form a perfectly curved top! (I don't know how many times I was laughed at while on a ski trip for having such a small head... and wearing a huge ass ski mask)Comment
