to all ppl who think hltoolz raises ping:

the scoreboard ping is NOT your actual ping, but a rough estimation.

type net_graph 3 in console and look @ the number next to "ms", THAT is your real ping, if you dont see a number with "ms" next to it, then congrats! youve got 0 ping

it is a well known bug that when net_graphs ping is lowered, the scoreboard ping goes up. HLTooLz favours the net_graphs ping, though it could easily get your scoreboard ping down instead, but then the net_graphs ping would go up, if thats what you want then ill do it, but your ping will be higher...

Also, HLT does NOT use outdated calculations, as of this version, the calculations are very uptodate.

It does NOT also use outdated cvars, maybe 1 or 2 are legacy, but noone can tell for sure. Ive been tweaking CS for over 4 years now, and I might possibly have the most extensive knowledge there is over it, except maybe good ol valve that never replies emails...

Anyway, i dont put any crap in the program, only useful stuff

no, whatever folder, because it asks you where to put the config file with tweaks when you are done.

THEN you would have to choose the CS folder, not during install.

(as of v3.1 which should be working the same as 3.2)

I had no problem with HLtoolz, i gained a few well needed fps due to my crapy computer (30fps now).

you sure has to check if everything is ok after tweaking and should not click this and that if you don't understand what it does.

And if you had 100fps and a decent ping you should just burn in hell for trying to tweak -> if it's not broken, don't fix it

HLToolz is a great program, whats with all these doubters. I dont really need the fps tweaks since my new hardware, but the ping tweaker is great just follow the directions properly. Geez.
