That is crap... I am going to demand that ATI gives me a CS2 for buying their video card. I would have waited now and gotten CS2 with it instead of the other deal... ATI is horrible at letting people know what is going to happen, sigh, yet again I must get the best video card :). I'm not a sucker though :) But I think ATI should really plan this stuff so that they don't get a bunch of pissed of buyers like me that bought the video card, and like it and now a new deal comes out, blah, that BS!!!! O yeah one thing that is with the X800, IT CURRENTLY DOES NOT SUPPORT PCI Express!!!, but from what I heard from some sites that the software later when PCI Express comes out will make it PCI Express compadtible, who knows how the hell, but I suggest if anyone is looking to upgrade their computer and video card, wait and get a PCI Express 755 Intel Chipset and the X600 seriers with PCI Express :)

u stooges need to catch up on this reading thing that people do. it's called an ASUS bundle so no1 really cares about you flaming ATI through your lack of knowledge. and CS2 and CS:S are different games people.

anyone know when the x800 xt pe will be released? i read in a pc gamer that the msrp of the regular x800 will be $400, and the price of the xt pe $500, BUT until the xt pe is released all the retailers are charging almost $500 for the regular x800, so i'm waiting for the xt pe to be released which should bring down the prices of most ati cards, such as the 9800xt.

Well you're in luck because this bundle is for the X800 series, and unless you wanted to spend an extra $200 to get free CZ and run it at 100.999999999999 fps rather than 100.999999999998 then you have nothing to worry about :O

CS2 is planned to be a completely different game then Counter-Strike and Counter-Strike: Source.



Just thought I would clear that up. CS-Source is NOT CS2.

ok yeah I'll flame all I want, I think that ATI should get HL2 out and running before that make any more promisses that CS2 CS:S or any other thing is coming, ASUS, I really hope doesn't screw people over atleast to an extent
