CZ Bundled w/ X800

Counter-Strike: Condition Zero is being bundled with the ASUS' set of ATI Radeon X800 Pro and X800 XT-based video cards. It's surprising that a game like CZ is going to be thrown in with a top-of-the-line graphics solution, but I guess that's how the weed tumbles. In any case, this absolutely explains the CS2 bundling rumors.

when they bundle software with ur card ur inevitably goin to pay more than if the company just sold the hardware...



so why not package a GOOD game with the card.

Pick up a 9600xt or 9800xt ... Cheaper yet not as good in performance the x800 line.

By almost half in some games, buckaroo. My only concern is the lack of PS 3.0 support, but I dont even know any games I am going to play that will use it.

lol its all Valve has to offer at moment is CS:CZ thats out in stores, unlike HL2 i would rather have HL1 instead of CS:CZ lol

Deus Ex was an awesome game, but I heard that too much was wrong with the sequel to pick it up. I have a Radeon 9700 which has worked like a dream for me with every game I've played in the past year and a half (a lot of current graphics-intensive games) but I'll be getting a new card when HL2 finally comes out (probably somewhere between late fall and holiday time '04-'05). I'm surprised that ATI would make another bundle deal with Valve after the complaints about the HL2-delay-reabate-debacle though.
