Gabe said they are anticipating to deliver the game to get it published. I'd imagine they're in feature lock now to test for bugs (and the occasional gameplay tweak like the weapon selection portion of the HUD) and hope to finish by the end of August. My guess is they're aiming for a late September release (or mid-October). If the game is in store shelves before September, I will be VERY surprised.

I've gone beyond any shred of anticipation for this game like last year. Since then, I've been playing other great games like ut2k4.



These articles regarding half-life 2 are way ahead of their time. This game has gone thru alot and it hasn't even come out yet.

Wow after some close examination, and dust removal to make sure I could see everything, I see no expiration date, just a 2003 Copyright which does not offer anything as being an expiration date
