Vesslan Retires

Johan Ryman, better known as Vesslan, has announced his retirement from the realm of Counter-Strike today. Although a player who needs no introduction, his list of accomplishments is impressive to say the very least and is a shame to see such a player leave.

It's time for me to step down competitive gaming. There are to many things in my life right which makes it impossible for me to focus a 100% on counterstrike. This affects my whole attitude to life, because when i am not able to focus 100% on whatever i do sports,gaming,job,school,relationships whatever, I wont feel very good and i wont play very good. Thats just me. This is the main reason for stepping down.

Thus, this leaves Adrenaline (CS team Vesslan had led up to this point) with the lineup of: lucchese, snajdan, xeqtr, quick, and notorious. You may read Vesslan's unfortunate farewell message if you wish, and check out an interview with Vesslan himself courtesy of Gamers.nu.
