I've played coL in im. They're damn good, but they're nowhere near the upper teir of cpl playing, right now. No, they would not place well at CPL at all.

Right now they're just running on fumes and money, talking the talk, but I'll give them another couple months before they start having to walk the walk. They just aren't that great, right now. Probably because their lineup changes so much because of new players being bought.

And I'm sure that doesn't help the morale of the players who ARE on the team, knowing that they could be cut at anytime for some "worldclass" player.

I don't like clans like coL or NoA, because they have no heart. They're just allstar teams put together to win tournaments, etc. There is no coherent team, and that, in my opinion, hurts CS.

CS is about winning. You can search for all the morals you want, but in the end its about who gets the frag, the round, the win. If buying a team is the one way to do it, then so be it. A winner is a winner no matter how you got there. (as long as it wasnt cheating of course)

And anyways, they'd lost knox if they went to a cpl

Pro sports does this all the time, but they have established contracts and trades. There are some contract issues here and there, but this is the beginning of the growth we've been waiting for. Soon teams will all have excellent contracts to keep ppl from jumping ship so much, and to protect their intellectual assets from other teams - that is why that one guy almost got sued for leaving SK, he immediately joined another team for the extra cash, and brought with him all their existing strats and knowledge of the team members. I wouldn't have let anyone buy him out of the contract, I would have sued him. It's one thing to negotiate a contract change, and another to break a contract... when E-sports kiddies realize this you won't see so much whining.

Not really. He's barely any better at CS then he was when he started. He's just not quite such a pretentious arsehole. He's gone down the drain in UT and Quake too.
I was never really into UT and Quake so I don't really know who is big in that scene. Although, I've heard that he has the best aim in the world for Quake and UT and has won several championships.

Only because there's so many thirteen year old gamers that think it's retarded.
I and my post 20 year old friends also find the idea silly. You know I thought it was the other way around, the younger players tended to care more about being professional than older people, and on any server ive been on it shows.

On a side note, I've seen on god knows how many comments you trolling every fking time. GROW UP OR F**K UP!

I just find anything involving grown men playing pretending they are "athletes" to be hillarious. 1 should stick to chasing ambulances, though it sounds like he was terrible at that too. Good thing he has daddy's old money.

then you'll be very dissapointed in the future, Ravenium, because esports aren't going away.
