Wouldn't it be funny if they got knocked out in the first round =p

SK will beat them. Either that or NoA will. Both clans have better players and have played together more, meaning their team mentality will be better, which always has a positive knock-on effect in the actual game. Both SK and NoA are better clans, period.
You can't just throw money at something and suddenly have it mastered. You can't just hire some of the best players out there and hype yourself up. That just makes you look like a rich pretentious tosser with dodgy priorities. Nope. You've got to get a team together that gets on well, that have played with each other a lot before (no gay jokes, please), then you've got to practise, practise, practise. Right now compLexity is doing the same thing as a clan that the solo player Fatal1ty did - i.e. going in head-on, thinking he'll wipe the floor with everyone else. What an arse.Comment

Hasn't Fatal1ty proven himself?

solidsnake thats honestly the truth, buying people would be more like enforcing a contract, much like major league sports, except in the situation there are no legally binding contracts keeping these players in, just the incentive of money and a game. Being on this site, reading articles, and actually posting your opinions, I must ask everyone this:
If someone was willing to pay you money to play CS, would you?Comment

Not if it's a sellout clan like compLexity. Who cares how good they are?

Now no star player is safe...Aimetti, Elude, Sunman, they could all be next, and you know why? Because their CAL-I clans can't give them as much money as coL can, and regardless of what any of them say, they'd more than likely take the offer in a heartbeat. So basically, either CAL-I clans start getting contracts, or more star players are gonna be ripped away and start owning up some CAL-IM clans.Comment

You're a liar and you know it. I dont want to hear your blabermorals..what to you mean "sellout"? It not selling out, this is a different way to look at the sport. You dont call all pros at sport sellouts cause they accept money to play do you?

hmm, I wonder if this is the ph33r I used to play with. He seemed rediculously obsessed with CS and had the poor, stereo-typical attitude of a pro gamer, so maybe it's him. Anyone know if he has a custom spray worded "Dr. ph33r" in the form of a Dr. Pepper logo? He was about one of the biggest assholes you could come across, but he was nonetheless good (but not like that makes up for his attitude).
EDIT: Had a little chat with col|ph33r and he's not the one.Comment
