The only thing keeping me from buying cz is the fact that banana grenades and the acorn gatling gun still have not been incorporated into the weapons. We also need tropical player models too, do you hear me valve?!?!?!

No, i think Valve is done with 1.6 except some bug tweeks. Dont expect new content. They are giving CZ the content. If you want it....go buy CZ.
With that said....i would like to say the new hosties ROCK! You dont have to go next to them to get them, all you have to do is look at them and press e. They will come to you at a distance now. I was at a server and the T team was wandering around (obviously they didnt even know about the features of the update) and the hosties rescued them selves and they were like "OMFG, WTF???????????/". It was hilarious. The new maps rock too. The only thing I dont like is the added fog. This update is, IMO, the best update in CS history.Comment

giving the CS 1.6 players the same features as the CZ owners have would be a very dumb decision. I mean.. what would this benefit in anything for Valve?? it would benefit more if they merged the CZ and CS 1.6 players together.. (new comers (CZ) and veterans (cs 1,6)). this would increase the player count and overall popularity of CS. (no DUH)
I think... CZ is just a mere attraction to bring more people to play CS. and then.. when next update comes around.. it would merge the CS 1.6 and CZ communities together.. making a single large gaming community. well.. I guess anyone could have thought of this... I mean... I did, didn't I?
BTW.. the new update is sooo amazing... it's the very.. THE VERY CS experience that I was waiting for AGES! (the seemingly flawless graphical enhancement, and fixes to all the annoying, yet, small bugs, which the previous versions were full of...)

This update has completely buggered my steam. I get an error that my game is unavailable and to try again later. No matter what I try my Steam wont update, the same bug is starting to pop up amongst others in the steam forums.
hopefully they fix it soon, the money I pay for my servers isnt worth shiat if I cant even play on them!

I wouldn't suggest playing on anything under 1Ghz with 128Meg of RAM, and even then you will probably be hating the quality of your game.
As for the cost of the game through steam.. 40 bucks, way too high of a price, especially since you don't get any media when buying it that way. It should be available for 19.99 or 14.99
I am, however, running Windows ME. You mentioned it for Steam but not CZ...does CZ not run under ME?Comment
