hehe I remember when I had to download waypoints to play with bots. Man those were the good ol days.

Not all bots use waypoints, but the majority of them do. Some bots use "wayzones" instead to allow for a little more freedom in movement. PODbot will use these, though, along with a lot of other less common CS bots.



Anyway, I'd rather have waypoints for rare maps than for frequently played ones. Afterall, I can play a common map whenever I want online, but how often do you get a game of de_vietnam started? Bots let you goof around with custom maps and get a different experience, even though those maps won't ever make it big.
