TsN to Cover Team3D Xfire Event

On May 28th from 6 -- 9 pm PST 3D.cs will be participating in another "Play with Team 3D" Xfire event. The event is free, and to participate download Xfire and signup at www.xfire.com. Registrants will be able to pub with Bullseye, moto, Ksharp, boms, Rambo, and steel as a farewell to Bullseye, who recently announced his retirement from professional Counter-Strike. Xfire is an IM designed for gamers that shows users when, what, and where their friends are playing PC games online.



Team Sportscast Network (TSN) will be providing coverage of the event including casual interviews with the players and commentary as well as an exclusive interview with Xfire's Dennis "Thresh" Fong. Be sure to signup at www.xfire.com and tune in at www.tsncentral.com.

I have been using xfire for a few months now, not once have I had a problem with it. Can anyone say the same for the steam friends list?Well I guess you could if you don't have any friends on it. Xfire works great, ya it may not be visually stunning. IT WORKS THOUGH.

For some reason I was under the impression that xfire came bundled with some spyware... am I mistaken on this? Somebody run an Ad-Aware scan after installing it and let me know. :P

bah, anything nowadays comes bundled with spyware, just as almost every single website is trying to sell you something. i laugh in the face of shitty marketing! :-

i always make it good practice, efter installing a piece of software, to check what extra processes it has added running in the background, and if they are not necessary to the running of the program then i terminate it, and rename the file, to prevent it auto-executing. i also check to see which new services have been added (in the admin tools section) and disable them as well. ad-aware also comes in handy. cos my IE browser always gets redirected to some fucking porn site (no pun intended!).
