I don't understand any complaints. It's an interesting game and I love the time they spent in the little details of the game. I've been involved with half-life for so many years that little things like this always gimme a smile. Ran perfectly on my machine no complaints besides the mouse being awkward at first and no direct looking up (metal slug u can look straight up!).
OMG ADD A MULTIPLAYER MODE PLZ roflrofl. Fix the netcode its inaccurate sometimes oMG the game isn't SUPPOSE to be realistic! Grenades are cheap, wtf? Kill things in one shot man. Thats for nubs man. They need to make a longer delay time on those, so you can only throw like 1 every level. Yeah thats it..

1600Mhz or 1.6Ghz or better. If you dont have that. THEN IT WILL NOT FUCKING WORK LIKE IT IS SUPPOSED TO. Reason for this is the fact FLASH has to use the CPU and there is NO OTHER WAY AROUND IT> NOW IF YOU FUCKING RETARDS would upgrade your computer YOU WOULD be able to play this game.
Sorry for the flaming but this does show why so many are having problumes. Now for those that cant get it to load, sorry I don't know just wait its NOT GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU.Comment

It was pretty short and I beat it within like 15 minutes. The strider is a pain to kill, not b/c IT is hard, but b/c gordon sometimes decides he doesn't want to jump and you go falling off one of the edges, and, also, the fact that the distance between being zapped by those electric walls is larger than it's supposed to be.
Not that bad of a free game :)
PS: God, I hope there are more levels in HL2 than that though (I know it will be longer on each level--don't go crazy with flames). What I mean is, have they revealed all of the different levels in the game? I'm hoping I will come across some different themed areas that I haven't seen hundreds of screenshots and few videos of.Comment

Jesus fucking christ you are a goddamn moron. First of all, I'm PRETTY FUCKING SURE he knew it was free, as he didn't have to pull out a credit card or cash when preloading. Are you stupid? 1600+ to run a Flash game? By any standards that's terrible. They should have made it in some other language. I have an AthlonXP 2000+ and this game runs terribly, mouse lags, slow response and everything. Maybe it's my GeForce 4200Ti not being able to RENDER THE JPEG OR SOEMTHING I dunno. Might be my gig of DDR ram, that has a lot to do with fucking FLASH games.

I thought it was ok. I would understand if people were pissed off if they paid for it, but they didn't. If I paid for this, I would be pissed off.
Also, what makes you so sure that there won't be improvements? This is Steam after all, and updates can come all the time. The fps wasn't great, but I haven't tried lowering the graphics settings yet, and maybe they'll optimise it so it runs faster.Comment
