Pharlap, email me, and I'll help you out a bit. :)
mojebs, if it's not working for you, odds are either you have an outdated version of QuickTime, or your download was corrupted somehow. Usually if it's a .zip file, however, you'll know if it's been corrupted, so check your version/codecs.
I just really hope this new version maintains the "feel" of CS as far as the controls go. I don't know how to explain it, but playing something like UT or Quake 3 or whatever has a much different feel for how the screen moves relative to my mouse/keys than HL does. I hope the HL2/Source engine feels roughly the same that way.Comment

Yeah, that's some pretty kickin' multiplayer action right there.

yeah the 39mb one is a very low res version. u could DL it though to psyche you up for the real 600mb one.

something that size will get written at the end of your hard disk track. so if u dont move any other files around, deleting it shouldnt cause any gaps.
What crap, why compress a 600mb+ file? It takes quite awhile to unzip and even more to delete the original Zip file. Not to mention, because of the 1.3gb thrown around, I am going to need to defrag again. Oh well, it's all worth it to see the future of CS.appended @ [time="1084549559"]-:Nighthawk:- wrote..

if u dl the file through BT it gets verified constantly, so theres no danger of corruption. or so we think....Comment

Hey Cliffe. I met some of your crew the other day down at E3. Excellent work I must say. The CS source demo was impressive. The wait is definitely worth it. After talking to Erik and Gabe, HL2 should meet every expectation. Now I need to go get a new vid card and maybe pick up one of those high def. monitors they had.
This is something I've spent a considerable amount of time ensuring.
