This reminds me of the MGS2 video shown a few years back at E3. Compared to the original PSX MGS it looked 100x better. Seems to be the same grpahical leap (MGS1 --> MGS2 , CS --> CS Source). Now where is the high res fullscreen bink

I just sat out the wait at Fileplanet, and I'm getting... 312k/s with 70% complete right now, so I guess it was worth it. :)



Anyway, this is definitely cool, but I'm still more excited about CS2, whenever it comes out. I mean, seriously... HL2 supports drivable vehicles in multiplayer. We're not talking about the old-school APC in siege here. You just have to wonder if we're gonna get the chance to sit in the turret of a HMMWV, speeding around and mowing down any T's dumb enough to stray from cover... :)



Not to mention the rag-doll effects when you hit them going 90mph... haha. :) That would almost be funnier if they kept the death view in 1st person like it used to be... see stuff just flashing by as your limp body does somersaults in the air, haha.

Anyway, w00t for the CS:Source Vid... Looks awesome... Bah at the new weapon skins. Looks like CS Nations Skin Department are gonna need to find an entire arsenal of CS skins to cover these ugly new ones. ;-)

gotta agree on most of what is posted here



cs:s looks sweet, especially the Water effects, the ragdoll physics and the map geometry.



I`m concerned about the models ( especially the the weapon models ) tho, they lack the original *slick and realistic* look and feel of todays still up par models.



Plus, whoever used that ak sucked ^^
