CSN Looks @ the CS Source Port

i saw the cs: source video.....on gamespot, i did a quick sign up for the free membership account and streamed the video, it was cool...i wasn't like all crazy over it. the graphics and efects is good, but the player and weapon models looks way too plain to me.

Thats depending on if we can still customize HL and CS the same way we can... we'll have reason to have CS replacement sites.

absolutely amazing.... the arm coulda been done a lil better, well it looks like crap for me, i'm streaming it from Gamesspot. The game is going to kick ass. Especially if opposite team runs across wooden bridge, and your team shoots out the planks:) gonna give a whole new meaning to alot of custom maps.

the video looks really good...I can't wait for high res...it looks incredible...I think the skybox might be active (like forming clouds) cause the sun was making glare and shadows on the walls. I was impressed by the physics of mainly the water but when the CT threw the grenade and blew up the barrels all over that was pretty good...if I don't get to see de_dust on the source engine high-res someone's going to die.

That was like the best 90 seconds of my life. Any doubts about buying HL2 are gone. I hope my PC can handle it.

I was at E3 today. Met Erik Johnson. Real nice guy. I did see the H2 Exhibit and it was amazing. I also saw the Counter-Strike Source demo. The voice in CS that states "The bomb has been planted" says "Counter-Strike Source" at the end of the demo. Also... the physics in HL2 are in CSS. It looks amazing. The weapon models look fine. The ak in the demo depicts an actual ak47's shell discharge. I thought it looked great. If thats just the taste of what CS2 may be like... then god help us.

i just watched the high res video, and wow, i am now giving valve a second chance on the condition they finish TF2 before I die. Honestly I only play other games while I patiently wait for TF2 and DNF, why do the sequels to the 2 games that got me into computers have to be stuck in limbo???
