This is truly fucking amazing, I couldn't believe this.
You do know that there is no such thing as "CS2" now don't you. CS2 was basically going to be Counter-Strike on the HL2 engine (Source) and this is what we have here. This IS CS2. Although it's not going to be called CS2 (actually, you don't know, it might be) This is what CS2 was going to be.
Valve have never actually said much about CS2, there's never really been an official word on it, just speculation. I feel that this is what CS2 was and is going to be. I hope you clever people will understand this.
As for me, i'm going to upgrade my computer so I can run this like the current CS. Let's face it, Counter-Strike in the HL1 engine has been dieing slowly in the last year. BUT NOT ANY MORE! Counter-Strike is saved thanks to Half-Life 2 and the Source engine!Comment

Valve is developing CS:Source, but they haven't said anything about CS2, apart from in the occasional interview as far as I remember. However, there have been various confirmations of CS2 from cliffe and goose in the past.
Okay then, in that case, who developed this CS Source port? Is it not Valve? This video is being shown at E3, right?
So if I'm not mistaken, this is an official CS mod developed for HL2, with improved models, physics, maps, skins, sounds etc. I dunno, it would seem like CS2 to me...
All we know so far (from that video) is that this is not CS2, nor is it a basic CS1 port. It's inbetween, basically to get all the CS1 players over to HL2, which will presumably prepare them for CS2.Comment
*sigh*
