You did that just to brag, right Tracid?
, and no I'm not bragging there is plenty other comps out there that smashes mine to bits.
FPS loss a lot, and settings was only on medium-high. I didn't care for shadows or stuff. Do I need to turn up AA and AF in vid option?

Tracid wrote..That's odd. I have a nearly identical setup, slightly faster ram/gphx, and no FPS drop on Farcry with all settings on high. What mobo and harddrive you have?
I played Farcry demo and it was really weird on it alsoFPS loss a lot, and settings was only on medium-high. I didn't care for shadows or stuff. Do I need to turn up AA and AF in vid option?
peagle wrote..I don't know what mobo it is since I got it from Dell, its the 8300 Dimension. But from what AIDA32 tells me its a Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 80011. Also I run all my games in 1280x1024 res, could that be the problem? My monitor is a 19 inc M992 monitor from Dell.

PS. Obligatory wootage to Valve for this blessing, I'm going to the E3 and will leave a bucket of drool as is called for.
David Johnston wrote..Okay then, in that case, who developed this CS Source port? Is it not Valve? This video is being shown at E3, right?
My opinion: Just because it's CS on HL2 doesn't mean it should be called CS2. Sequels (to me) indicate lots of new stuff and nods to the original - CS:Source is CS1 updated for the Source engine. It doesn't warrant the CS2 title.
Of course, that leaves many questions about CS2... which is even more exciting!
