would you prefer those "bad" ones be SOTDs instead? i thought not. The purpose is to add as many models with as much variation as possible to the archives so that CSN will become even better. the SOTD is dedicated for those models that stand out and that need a lot to be said about them.

Why do they keep posting poor quality low poly skins in the archives , why not release 1 or 2 decent quality ones rather than ones which are 2 years old.

Anyway, I dont really like the trigun skin, so-so quality, and has no shield models. It deserves an 8 though.

The problem is, maybe 75% of the community loves the top 3 rated replacements in any given category, but there are still the remnants that either a) have unique preference that doesn't fall along the "excellent and perfect replica" lines, or b) like more variety in their custom model experience. I know people who don't keep skins for more than a month at a time, and are always switching things up "to keep things interesting."



Yeah, these models that are batch-added aren't the very best of the best, but they're all good in their own way, and will appeal to various members of the community. If that's not your thing, then hey, ignore these updates and focus more on the SotD. I know other people will enjoy these, however.

Concerning the "crappy" skins issue... I think there should still be some consideration about the quality of the skins. Although variety is good, bandwidth is precious too, and if I were running CSN I wouldn't like to have hundreds of crap skins hanging around sucking all the bandwidth...

We have unlimited on both mirrors iirc, and I can say for myself I won't be doing any utter crap replacements because I think it would be a waste of time to review, post a screenshot and the like. So I don't think to much crap will be flowing (no pun intended x-: )

Actually I would Like to see a god-awful peice of shit sotd be submitted, it would just be comic releif, and finding incredibly shity models is hard to come by these days, what with CDG and Robert Olender's "arms."
