Frank Nuccio Resigns from the CPL

Frank Nuccio, known for his role in founding the CyberAthlete Amateur League and his job as league commissioner with the CPL, has resigned from his position.

I've had a great time over the past four years but I am retiring as commissioner from the Cyberathlete Professional League effective immediately. Business at our family pizzeria, which has been open since 1956, has skyrocketed over the past 6 months. All my time is taken up and I just don't have any spare time for gaming at this time. I wish to thank everyone that I've gotten to know the past six years in the gaming community and to all the teams. I'm very proud in founding this site which spawned into an online gaming league and then into CAL, which re-defined world-wide online gaming.

A glance at the website reveals his job is being taken over by Mike Wardwell. I'm sure Frank will be missed, but despite it all I know the CPL won't skip a beat in ensuring that this summer's event is a success.
