    Pandoras Box II

Team Fonzie, a Dutch Counter-Strike clan, and Gworx Pictures, a film, animation, and machinima design group, has announced the release dates of the much anticipated Pandoras Box II, the sequel to an excellent machinima film developed by Team Fonzie. This movie has been produced by Daniel Frome, better known as The_Family_God, whom directed a little film entitled Militia 2.
So, it looks like I can give the following release dates with reasonable confidence:

Pandoras Box II Trailer: Monday, May 10th

Pandoras Box II Movie: Monday, May 24th
It should be noted that Pandoras Box II will mark the first project to be completed in over a year for Mr. Frome and the entire Gworx Pictures crew. Mark your calendars, folks, and do not forget to check out the full post in its entirety. For those who have not yet viewed Pandoras Box, now would be a wise time to do so.

geezuz... these are nothing more than glorified demos. I watched a couple of these "movies" and they got annoying quite fast. Basically they just take some demos and apply some lame effects to them. Oh, and they add some tunes.

Can't really see calling something like this a "project".

Personally, I would rather just watch a straight non edited demo.

      what are you crying about.

these movies rock. Unlike a normal demo do "these movies" have a story, just like normal movies. Those lame effects are the same "lame effects" they use in normal movies and then those tunes.. there not just tunes, there called a soundtrack..

it seems to me that u don't like movies. thats a shame...some of them really are enjoyable...

I don't think you get the idea here. This is a movie. I don't think you want to watch our (hours long) demos which include many, many takes. Also, total production took about 8 months so I do think this qualifies as a project.

Of course, it's your opinion. But I doubt you get the full picture here.

as GareGast has stated in his reply, you are being confused with the rather undesirable frag "movies" with machinima films (militia 2, pandoras box, blue screen of death), which in my opinion, should be referred to as a movie. why? because they are real actual movies (plot, voice actors, planning, direction, etc).

I like frag movies, but machinima does nothing for me. Toma(y)toe, toma(h)toe.

Miltia 2.. now that was a good in game CS movie. This is just crap. No sound effects for guns, terrible maps (no details at all), and downright terrible spectating.

I give them props for trying to make a film, unfortunantly it was a terrible one. Hopefully they learn from there first one and try to make it more like a movie.

Icefreez: We've learned alot from the first one. During the production of PB2 we tried to focus more on, indeed, camera movement, mapping and sound.

We know we can never get everyone to like our production, but we believe we've done a good job on PB2. No, we might not be experts in every aspect of film making but we certainly have improved alot compared over the first one. Mapping alone took about four months this time. And another four months after that for the shoots, voice recordings, editing, soundtrack, etc.

Like I said, we can't make anyone to like it but we did our best and we've learned alot from the process.

Not only do u refer to the first PB as if it was the worst thing ever, you also don't see that TFG made parts of this movie. The first movie was a first movie, when people do something for the first time they never got to the highest level, this is called a first try. this next one is a Second try, there is a chance that this movie will be not as good as Militia, but better then PB1. that's still fine by me, we have another movie, that's all that fucking Mather's.
