    Half-Life Rally

Half-Life Rally? Sounds like a racing game but it couldn't be! COULD IT?!

Yes, Half-Life Rally has been released after about 4 years of planning and developement. HL-Rally is a rally type racing game based on the Half-Life engine. This game features numerous cars, car upgrades, a MP3 player that comes with a few songs and some Internet radio stations and more!

HL-Rally is still in beta stages and has numerous bugs. The HL-Rally team is working hard to fix all the bugs and add more features to this game as time goes on. You can expect frequent updates.

Go to the HL-Rally site for a list of mirrors.

I know this isn't related to CS but we're all one community, right?

I heard about this game years ago. In a PC Gamer that had CS beta 6 on the demo disc I believe.

I thought this fell off the map a long time ago. It's good to see they are still here. The screenshots on the site are the same as I remember though....

Half-Life Rally? Sounds like something completely different to counter-strike!

I was going to download it until I heard about the bugs in this release... I think I'll hold off until those are taken care of.

This mod is in a real class of it's own , admittedly it has hundreds of problems but what mod didn't , cs has taken 5 yrs to come good and im sure in a few years when this mod makes it's way over to half-life2 it'll be top-notch , it gets 10/10 for the idea and 8/10 for look and modelling. As the player number shows this mod has already taken a huge leap and already is in the top 5 played mods on steam. It can only get better from here....

Yeah, its pretty good (and it only takes like 5 minutes to fully download.) Imagine yourself driving a WRC rally car in a DoD map, thats pretty much what this game is like.

Real question. Can it compete with the vehichle fun of Battlefield 1942 and it's mods, especially Desert Combat?

I have never found a limit to the joy of running people down with a humvee.
