Thorin continues his absolutely amazing series of esports interviews by talking to United 5's fRoD on ESEA. You know you're big when Thorin gives you a call. Here's a quick bit from the interview:
With the CAL-i finals being held on LAN this season do you expect the prestige of winning the event to increase in light of some of the teams who have won it in the past and then done horribly on LAN? What do you think of CAL's decision to start introducing prizes to the league?Check it out! Another great piece of work from ESEA and Thorin.
fRoD: I hope this will increase the competition both online and on LAN, except there are teams that will do whatever it takes to get to the finals. It was a good desicion that CAL is taking charge to do things with CPL, and at CPL. But, people will take advantage of the free trip to CPL and do whatever it takes to secure that they attend the finals. The match will be played on LAN, and maybe since there isn't much on stake, except pride, the nervous factor might not come to play, which can lead teams not performing so well on LAN, do better in that final.
