We have noted your comments and will be making the following changes this week:

Screenshots of the skins

Credits file



Following this, we will be changing some skins (SG552 & Glock at least!) and adding some more custom sounds.

At the moment the sounds are few, and far between. But they are nice little addons, so they will be staying :)

cswarez, can i ask why all your skins are stolen from frenchyskins.com?

To steal is to unlawfully take without the permission of the other party.



We download skins from a load of sources, and upload them to our server (credits included), for users to download.

Our aim is to create a large collection of all the cs skins around, so that users will have all the cs skins in one place.

This will prevent users from having to browse around 5 or 6 sites just to find a skin that they like.



We never claim that we make the skins, we simply host them and provide a service for users to download them.

To be honest, it is just like CSNation. CSN do not make the skins that appear in their SOTD, they just host them so that people can download them.



Gunshop know how we operate, and prefer that we take the time and effort to host them ourselves than to hotlink them.



So, in reply: We dont steal, because we never claim that they are ours. We host all skins and images, and have a good number of visitors that come to us each day, and appreciate the effort that goes into running a skin site such as ours.

what im saying is, whats the point of going to CS DL when people can quite simply go to frenchyskins.com?



People want exclusive skins, not skins found all from the same site.

Because you dont have to register to download at Counter Strike Dl

This saves user time, and reserves their privacy.

Also, we have more skins than frenchy skins, as we have skins from other sources also.

Plus we are also we will be the host for the NightHawk pack, a complete replacement pack for cs (including map textures).

We are beginning to host skins for alot of smaller skin makers too.

Yes, we are aware of the unfortunate recent downtime of frenchyskins,

Users want this: Lots of skins, in one place.

Thats what Counter Strike DL gives them.

We also provide scripts, custom packs, maps and plenty of other good stuff.

We give all this without asking members to register.

Counter Strike DL operates a good clean rig, and our members like it. Get over yourself. We offer a legimate service, and have done for some time now. We never claim to make the skins.

I dont think you are going the right way about becoming a big cs skins site, you've come in and offended an established site.

I've just been on my cpanel and found this:

208170.60 Megabytes Bandwidth used this month. (15 days)

That shows just how much we are providing for the cs community.

At least respect that.

Considering you are the "#1 source for cs skins", you don't seem to have very many of them, and alot of them say that other people made them, you're doing the same as us, you have less that 10 skins though, we have like over 200, so what are you whining about??

We at flash-skinz.net have exclusive skins, know what that means? it means you'll have a hell of a hard time finding them anywhere else, ive posted 1 so far and believe me, i have hundreds of EXCLUSIVE skins. Proberbly wont be exclusive for long though, you'll proberbly steal them and post them on your crappy site..



Even the damn pictures of the skins are stolen from the Old frenchy skins website, all you did was stamped your name on them.

Yes, I have made over 20 skins, some of which are to be included in the next reloaded pack.



This isnt the sort of reputation that you need to get sponsors.



We have worked hard giving users what they want, no less.



I really don't see what your problem is, but whatever it is, deal with it.

Counter Strike DL gives users what they want. We never say that we make the skins, we just get them to the people who want them....

I'd just like to comment on the script pack. If you actually read what it contains 3/4 of it are say commands that involve god and whoever created it admiring himself. He has the command menu set up like an AOL profile to himself. The mp3 player script is stupid, you have to move and rename 50 (thats the max) files to a set folder (name them 1.mp3 to 50.mp3). Its a horrible job of a script pack, they prolly stole parts from Rze's (which i use and adore). What a crap pack, i got a good laugh at the website and the picture of the dork who made it.



Anyone know winamp capable mp3 script (ie, does HLamp work again? HLWC does not due to an update).



*and to you idiots fighting over the modelpack* anyone can make a model pack, and just because 1500 people downloaded it does not mean 1500 seperate people actually have, and gg on the 9.0 score with 3 votes.

Counter Strike DL Offers a service that lots of people use and like.

If you dont like it, dont use it. Just keep your comments to yourself, and let users decide for themselves.
