Steam Maintenance Release

All I know is that someday, somehow one of these releases will come and bless us all with an opaque radar, and that will be a happy day indeed.



Children will rejoice in the streets as their older siblings avoid painful friendly fire incidents, and someday we'll be old men, telling stories to the youth about the transparent radar "back in the day."



But that day is not today.

I think an opaque rader would bother me. Besides, I don't really die when looking at my radar in pubs and even in the most disorderly of pugs, you know where people are.

I want them to fix the annoying name problem, the shield problem, and did they fix the fast forwarding crashing your Counter-Strike problem yet?

Truthfully, I barely use the radar at all myself. In a semi-organized pub (Where your team communicates with each other), you know where your mates are. Though the semi-opaque radar would help very much so.



And Shields arent that bad..



Even if the CT"s all go Shields, if your team tosses a few HE into em, and then you use some tactics, well, it isn't that bad.

Shields are ridiculously easy to counter and they're perfectly fine in the game, assuming that any and all remaining bugs with them are fixed. But until such time as the bugs aren't adressed, the shield remains iffy.
