I might possibly know somebody who knows somebody who heard a rumour the CS2 wiill not go into beta stage until July and that due to mounting concerns over leaked code they will not release an open beta.



CS Nation is not going to recieve those discs until the beta stage is almost complete.

C'mon, if you really wanted to fool people you would have made a package with a NDA contract, and cool official Valve CD Labels complete with cd cases.



Well do it next year perhaps since CS2 won't be out by then.

I'm not obligated to tell you who at Valve sent me these copies since he would be inundated with e-mails. However I will say that developers will often just burn BETA CD's and send them to people such as myself. They wouldn't waste time or money on "prettying up" their CD's.
