to get back to topic, anyone else getting this stopped @ 51%? try deleting the content and left it going last night. isnt listed in games being monitored and woke to find it stuck at 51%. still says its preloading but its not really doing anything as i can tell.

There hasn't been a RC. (that we know of) When it goes gold it will take..what about 3 weeks. So when it goes gold + 2 weeks goes by...THEN we are getting close.

Either way you're buying the game, you might as well order the cd if you want a backup. I suppose you could burn the gcf's, but that would take a while and about 2-4 cd's.

Yah, that's what I did. I just RAR archieved my entire steam cache.

From 1.4 GIGs ( Those GCF's are REALLY Compressable ) I shrinked it to 400 megs. Talk about compression.



Still, I'm buying collectors edition. Anyways..I..umm..got HL,CS,CZ, keys for "Free" so..I am uh...hahhaha making up for it ?!

Bah, I'ved 7z'ed plenty of things from ~1 GB to ~100 MB.
