    CS Fanfiction: The Blue Team

While there has been CS Music, CS Cartoons, CS Movies and not a few CS Documentaries, the CS Fan Fiction is few and far between.

While it's not everyones cup of tea the UK Based Counter Strike Gaming Network (CSGN) has begun posting a serial of fan fiction based somewhat loosely around Counter Strike called The Blue Team.

    As the press release says:
The team initially goes on covert black-ops missions for MI5 around the world mainly taking out terrorist cells, and sometimes they will deal with corporate bosses who become to powerful and insane. As the story progresses they will continue to meet with Agent Beauford who always has information which they will find useful. He is a mystery to them as even Dataqueen is unable to find out who he is. Soon he starts giving out information which scares The Blue Team, which implies that not only have aliens visited Earth, but certain governments are in allegiance with them!
Agent Mulder meets SK.swe and they have a Battle Royal to save planet earth you say? There is only one way to find out and thats by clicking here and giving it a go.

Surprisingly well written, missing the episode where Dictator Hafez Assad accused Blue Team of ghosting and turns Spike into a llama.

          Haha, no doubt...

Anyway, it's pretty decent, aside from the numerous spelling/grammar errors, but hey, it's sadly still leagues beyond what most people are able to write, especially in the literary wasteland that is the CS scene. :)

One mistake did make me laugh, though:
One by one they dropped, a large 5 inch bullet tearing through their skulls and splitting the skull as it passed through.
Wow, a 5 caliber sniper rifle. Overkill, anyone? :P

Oh yeah, the auto-swear filter cracked me up too. :)
A MIG released one of its tomahawk missiles and it careered straight into an Apache destroying the c**kpit and the pilots inside.
Whatever happened to the "Heart of an AWPer" series anyway? It just sort of died a while back, never to resume? "Spike" from this series seems to be a CT variant of "the recruit." Ah well, it's not great literature, but it's an enjoyable read, so why not give it a click?

I suppose he was thinking of a 5inch long bullet in the foremost quote. FMJ .50 NATO round thingamajigamabobs (not that i thought they were 5" long during flight).

Still gotta love career'ing missiles aswell. Need to pass an Associate-Diploma and do a two week training course before they can launch i'm guessing... :)

Sorry but a 'c**kpit' just sounds like some bad innuendo in a porn flick.

Yes alien23 I was thinking of the bullet as 5 inches long!

This is my first attempt at fictional writing and I appreciate your comments. My knowledge of guns and what not is fairly limited, being from England we don't have the gun culture over here that you have in America.

If you have any websites which would hold that kind of information then please put the link here I would be very much grateful.

There is a forum over at csgn.co.uk which is dedicated to my BTC so if you have any ideas suggestions or criticism you can post on there.

                  Many thanks.

They don't know what they are talking about. Good attempt though!

                            They don't fire Tomahawks.

Rogue states equipped with Soviet era technology never get access to US cruise missiles and use them with a range of 50-100nm.

Well seen as though the pedantic nit picking has already started I may aswlel join in; the MI5 deal solely with the internal security of the United Kingdom, the MI6 deal with issues outside the country.

Working for the MI6 would make more sense.
