You could get an Xbox, Xbox live, and Counter-Strike for the xbox OR you can get 5 awesome games just released for the computer. It's just a matter of personal preference. I mean some people just prefer to make bad choices.

I think it's funny xbox people can by what ammounts to them as a new game for 29.99 and if you wanna buy a boxed copy of an unfinished version of the game game for pc, it's 39.99 and just barely made it to shelfs. I'm certain most people who don't know about coutner-strike will assume the pc version is a jacked up version of x-box cs.

and as far as consoles go xbox is my favorite one at the moment, just add a modchip + hardrive. the ability to emulate practically every system before it is just truly awesome, and with the ability to store and play all of my favorite playstation games on it, that atleast kills the backwards compatibility that the ps2 had over it. not to mention being able to store and watch divx/xvid/etc.
