ive never really heard about, or played with the bots. yet they are probably alot better than other bots out there. you have to atleast hand that to valve.

I only played the single player part of it for about ten minutes last night, and found it to be pretty fun/enjoyable. I liked the way the bots said "negative". I definetly think its great for new players who have never picked up CS before, to learn. The price really ain't that bad if you think of it from the view of a person who has never purchased a Half Life game before.

Well I played through the single player missions yesterday and finished the whole thing. WoW! was I ever disapointed. Not much imagination for the single player version. Online play is equal or a tad better than CS 1.6. But, I really think the key is they have waited to long to release CZ. Maybe it just ploy until HL2 is released and there will be a free FPS spawn from the bowls of HL2.

Its a real waste of money, I mean the bots are great and all, but idve liked to have seen them in normal cs as it is. And bump-mapped maps really dont make a good game (even though they do look MUCH better and realistic). Game wise, this rates pretty poorly, but I agree with what someone said before, in that it was probably just something to push off valves plate for the sake of getting it released.

Really though, the original CZ that Gearbox were making looked (from the videos and previews) to be much better than any other iteration of it actually released.

Just wondering, is CZ compatible with HL mods?

The bots piss me off worse then pub noobs.

They rush and run everywhere as CT even on expert.

They have CAL-I aim but think worse then OGL. wow. makes u want to break something.

When ever I push I got like 10 bots rushing me from all angles. If I just camp around spawn I can hs them all but its boring. 35hs in a row then I quit cuz it was just dumb.

Not alot of hope for this long delayed, offline version of CS, but at least the slight visual tweaks/skins and bots keep this from being a total flop of a release IMHO... If this game weren't from Valve and it wasn't CS, this game would be a total flop anyway as the only things this game has going for it is name recognition. The only thing that might actually get some attention in this game IMHO are the "deleted scenes" that are more story oriented, as the regular CS:CZ play is mostly likely just like a LAN game on CS 1.5 with better bots. Granted I don't play alot of CS anymore, but sadly, to have to deal with Steam's network and the sheer amount of log in time it takes even on my "blazing" cable makes CS:CZ all that more appealing.

Why don't they use the gun skins and sounds from the deleted scenes part in multiplayer? Would have been pretty cool (most server don't allow custom skins/sounds so this could've been a legitimate way of getting some new skins and sounds in the game).
