    GGF Accuracy Table

German Ground Forces have updated there very interesting accuracy table to be applicable to version 1.6 of the popular internet FPS Counter-Strike. The site is German, so for those of you who don't pay in euros and invade Poland you'll have trouble reading it, but each version image is accompanied by a myriad of pretty pictures with rainbows and puppies. You can take a gander over there right now and be back in time to remember Stanford lost, (L)aughing (O)n (L)ine!

    Interesting:
<rottis> I'd like to know why the accuracy of the guns was changed (from 6.1) to be so random and inaccurate?

Ie. with SG552 a couple of shots from crouched position and only from about 50m range - zoom on, fired shot by shot (not full auto), they will not hit the crosshair position.

Why's this? Personally I would've preferred the 6.1 accuracy, felt it was perfect.

<Gooseman> rottis: when you say changed, I assume you comparing this to 6.1 ?

Because I coded the guns, and I haven't touched them in any significant manner.

<Gooseman> You need to take screenshots and compare.

<Gooseman> People assume I change them every release

    <Gooseman> which is very false

If he doesn't change them with every release then what makes them feel and act so different every release? Is it just magic that they somehow change without anyone editing the code or do we just imagine the changes?

              LOL

Anyway, about the article. See how much the silencer on the USP makes it crap?

The article is pretty pointless tho, 'cos any half experienced player already knows all that stuff subconsciously. And any inexperienced players will find out without trouble.

The standard device ape of the COUNT he terrorists orients itself with the mufflerless single shot extremely accurately at the hair cross - together with the Glock18 belongs it to more details, the selbstladepistolen simulated here. All sieved fired projectiles land around maximally a field beside the point of center.
                            =P... fun with Babelfish.

I think it has to with the code and the feel of the game with latency.
