hey guys, maybe you know why i still cant get into steam. im not finding any help in the steam forums.



when i try to get into steam it gives me a warning after a minute that says: memory could not be read.



i thought this was something that might've gone away after a few days, but alas, i still cant get it.



please o please help me. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they dont make fully functional software, they shouldnt get fully functional abuse.

Check to see if you have some files read only that shouldn't be..like Steam.dll, or other stuff...

hey if you're waiting for your steam acocunt validation and you have a yahoo mail account, try checking yoru spam folder. I usually just empty my spam folder everyday, but yesterday i decided to check to see if the validation email was sent there and it was. So check the spam folder for the validation code.

It's very simple, valve does an update, the system is screwy and underpowered so it collapses, script-kiddies have to wait 8 to 16 hours for an update, they get pissed and dDoS valve, seems obvious if you seen people get pissed, and you, didn't you get angry during an update?

Many people on IRC do bombthreaths and curse valve from here to kingdom come you know.

So to cry out valve is lying about the dDoS seems silly, it would be suspicious to me if they didn't get DoS'ed during these times.
