This fairly new league was created for clans that want a cheat-free, clean, and an overall great gaming experience. UGC admins have been players him/her selves, and are here to simply keep things in order for all to enjoy what UGC has to offer. My experience in UGC was completely worthless. Things like rosters locking at Midnight Saturday, but unlocking at 9 pm Monday (official match time/date), so teams just have to start a little bit later if they want to bring in a ringer.
Unless things have changed, this league is run by monkeys who coincidentally care more about TFC than CS.Comment

your comments regarding ugc are completely unfounded and are the words of one who obviously knows nothing about the league. as i recall your team got into quite a bit of trouble because you couldnt keep your mouths shut and be good sports.
bottom line: ugc is a great league and i strongly recommend it to anyone who intends on participating in this fun and enjoyable community.Comment

I played a season in the league, and tried to act pro-actively with the admins to fix some issues. When they weren't addressed, I started forming opinions about how the league was run. Having played in OGL and PG prior to that, I was looking for something a bit more professionally run than those two leagues. I thought UGC would be it, but it wasn't at that time, and that is my opinion. I'm not an idiot who just spouts negativity, If the way this league was run had left a good impression, I would be the first person here to give an endorsement. My point was that last spring, it was not a well run CS league.

For a league with such a small CS division, I expected a bit more attention devoted to it. What appears to be the case was that the league wanted to expand into CS (formerly a TFC only league?), but wasn't fully prepared to dedicate the resources req'd to run a league for the most popular competitive FPS game in existence. of course, this is my observation.as i recall your team got into quite a bit of trouble because you couldnt keep your mouths shut and be good sports.
your recollection is completely incorrect (and, to quote you, "unfounded"). I posted my opinion here for people thinking about joining. if you want to get in a pissing match about what did and did not happen when 7IT was in UGC, let's take this to email.bottom line: ugc is a great league and i strongly recommend it to anyone who intends on participating in this fun and enjoyable community.
If you are involved with running this league, then this opinion is biased. Just something for the comment readers to think about.Comment

I signed my team up two seasons ago for UGC. They're a load of crap as the team we were suppoed to play never answered my e-mails or anything. They claimed I didn't answer theirs, they got the win and we were deleted.
Talk about a shitty league. :)
EDIT: Just read that the prizes that were guranteed to the winners weren't even given out. (last season) Why would anyone be interested in playing another season?Comment
