Where's the cunning wit and clever takes? These toons are just stating the obvious and not a step above slapstick. Hell, what people normally say in CS are funnier than these.

Besides, good players do play pubs, otherwise the whining parodied in the strip wouldn't happen. Unless they ARE all hackers.



It's not hard to wallhack and SAY you heard someone through a wall, either. Anyone with two brain cells can get some hacks, like an aimhack or a no-recoil hack, and play so similar to how they would've without the hacks, that it's impossible to spot them as a hacker instead of a 'good player'.



Which is why there should be more detections from VAC. If VAC did its job, then there wouldn't be so many hackers OR accusations of hacking.



Pubbing can be turned into an enjoyable experience again if VALVe actually put some effort into it. But oh well.

Ohhh yeah I remember this guy posting some caricatures of SK and then just of Element or fisker or something on either gotFrag or gamers.nu. Pretty good artist, but yeah, looks like it'll just be the same jokes over and over. Oh well.

See like the title of the second one.. "Why Good Players Don't Pub". I read the title here before clicking and thought hmm well being called a hacker is the obvious reason. Surely being that this is a comic, it will be a clever reason of sorts. Then I clicked and wow it was the boring ass obvious reason and as such it was not at all funny.

Yeah the artwork is pretty good, by web-comic standards at least, but the jokes are pretty much fubar.

I hope that the comic strip will get better with time. Then again, it probably won't judging solely from these two comics.

hey guys he is an artist not a writer he has to get someone to write him better jokes. All hope is not lost I play on a custom server with him and he really wants to improve them.
