Godam it wtf. Its the same deleted stuff ive already completed with a few new multiplayer maps that are based off old ones roffles

I mean seriously, wtf, Valve dropped the ball. They had shown us videos of the next step in CS (maps being destroyed as you plan, dragging your dying team mates, gas grenades and mask) and then swapped developers again and we ended up with a fiasco of the deleted scenes and NOW all its got to brag about is the godam new not to difficult yet slightly challenging real AI.

Seriously, Valve has wasted so much damn money when they had it all right with the first developer. I WANT TO DRAG MY DYING TEAM MATES DAMN YOU.
i hear ya friend, i still have that video on my comp. i watch it everyonce in awhile. it coulda been real good.

we might as well buy it now, since we have to wait even longer for HL2 - Valve doesn't care about us = (

I've got mine on order from for £16 - the prices quoted here are a bit mental tbh
im not talkin about pounds, did you know there was more than one currency in the world? www.amazon.com (amercan site which sells in USD) is 40 bucks, the GPB is stronger than the USD so it works out £21.79 for USA buyers

Interesting that the M60 and LAW are apparently not even in the deleted scenes section. Even though there is a screenshot of the M60 in that article...

Does this mean I won't be able to buy a universal toolkit to defuse the landmines while hunting CT's with my crossbow?

I wonder how many are left who remember that kind of stuff about CS:CZ, heh. RaptorRage looks to be one of the few. :)

Admittedly, I was looking forward to the Pancor Jackhammer, M60, and suicide belt back when I read the first article on CZ a few years back. Most of the other stuff looked like crap, but those sounded cool.

Anyway, one last point. For those who complain about the dated graphics and such, just remember that if you're posting here, well, you're playing, loving, and actively staying involved in the community for a game that is every bit as dated as CS:CZ is. CS is still the most popular online FPS game, averaging what now, still over 40,000 players constantly 24/7? It's not the graphics engine that makes or breaks CS:CZ, but whether it's enough extras over normal CS to justify the price tag. No more, no less.

When I first saw screenshots of the very first version I've CZ i was very exited. That was Rogue's version. I remember looking at those player models (not Ritual's) and thinking WOW. I was looking 4ward to the new guns but in the end Valve ended up releasing the galil, FAMAS and shiled in 1.6. Those 2 weapons would of been a new addition to CZ if they were not added to 1.6. Now CZ really is a joke. It's not really worth it at all as its just 1.6 with upgraded maps and bots. CZ was supposed to be a single player story line mode which thankfully they have kept as "Deleted Scenes" but PHL are saying thats pretty bad too. Valve really messed up heh. They should just release it as a free update, just do every1 a favour Valve.

This is the Condition Zero that I want, it looks so much better than Ritual or Turtle Rock versions. Anybody know what was happened to Gearbox's CZ? VALVe should just have released Gearbox version in 2002. I don't really know about Rogue version, but Suicide belt :).. that's leet.

Well I had a chance to play both the mutli-player and single player version. I've been playing CS forever I think and am amazed that someone can take a great game and make it worse. A few new maps and few maps re-done. I cant say for sure, I dont think I'll be rushing out to buy it. Already made that mistake with XBOX:CZ and I've already sold to some unknowing noob.
