The Game will never come out, and when it does, it will be shitty.

For godsake that`s exactly what i was waiting for ever since gearbox was working on cz. That`s exactly what (hopefully) will make the game challenging enough for the CS Vets and Pro`s to play it.
TurtleRock is the campaign (kill 3 with hs and things like that)
I remember a interview with Gearbox back in 2k i believe when they said "we want it to be as challenging and motivating as THPS 2".
Now lets \wait\ and see.Comment

i can't believe they are actually going to release it. maybe if they did it in 2001 like they said they would, it'd be hype. but now? in 2004? with all the technology going around and everything, i bet cz is gonna be a pile of crap. they might as well sell it for $9.99 or maybe even release it on the internet for free. because it certainly is worth nothing.Comment

and condition zero is still going to play online with 1.6 right? i thought they were introducing some new exclusive maps, does that means some servers will be condition zero only? will there be a separate dedicated server package with the exclusive maps? and then whats to prevent them from being copied to 1.6?
just a little fuzzied on all this stuff, and with having them different wouldn't valve have to make any counter-strike updates apply to both condition zero and 1.6? i.e. redoing zoomed crosshairs and changes to dualies + para will have to be ported to condition zero and released to? perhaps that just sounds like a bitch to me but perhaps updates like that can just be applied to both easily.
eek that came out a bit more jumbled than i hoped it wouldComment

OK, Think of it like this. PC Zone or whatever mag, gave cs:cz 79%, it had single player and bots at that time yes ?
Ok, think of it now. What does it have ?
Boring as hell bots (that you will never learn any skills from unless you're a complete fucking newbie) as the main feature and a very very shittily done single player.
I can't really see this game getting a lot better tbh.
The engine is so so so so so so so (*100) old, why pay for this rehash ?
Im not slating valve, all they had to do was hire a decent developer in the first place, that actually knew what cs was about, my point will be proven when we see the sales figures for condition zero, then i'll laugh at all of you who actually buy it.
As for half-life 2 though, this will take over the mantle of being the best pc game ever, this is where valve should've focused money and resources, then released cs:cz on the half-life 2 engine.
If only valve had listened to us.........Comment

Even from a business point of view releasing a product which has been a) surpassed graphically; b) beginning to chug it is not really mentally sound is it!?! I put it down to dallying around on Valves behalf.
BUT it would of been nice for Valve to treated us PC based users with the game on the HL:2 engine rather than ol' faithfull!Comment
