    Sound of Music

There are some things in life that just make getting through the day that little bit easier. And in the absence of vodka, I'm here to introduce BB Media Player!

This fruity little utility allows you control the music you are listening to while playing Counter-Strike. Functioning in a number of games, it also contains a number of features to lift it above the crowd - volume reduction for dead players, in game playlists and song announcements. Take a look.

And if that's not enough, HLWC has been updated to version 2.6.3 in order to deal with recent Steam updates. The Half-Life Winamp Control will allow you to control everyone's favorite Nullsoft app from within CS. Enjoy!

Feel free to discuss your music views in the the CS-Nation Counter-Strike forums, your one true love for CS discussion.

Don't forget Winamp5's global hotkey support. That's all a player need to play music in-game, no addons & plugins, no 5 year ban risk.

Amen. But VALVe does need to code VAC so it can tell the difference between a helpful hook program and a cheat hook.

"volume reduction for dead players"?!!! surely I want the music to be quieter when I'm alive so I can hear footsteps and the occasional call of a wild african elephant, and loud when I'm dead to drown out the sound of 12 year olds using voice-comm to point out why every gun is gay.

even before winamp5 there were many good global hotkey plugins. And with 2500+ songs, it's always handy to get a title generator, which displays what song is playing (some of them just sound so much alike!). I dislike all these built in music players for games, as they just take up useless development time.

                WINAMP 4EVA!!! :P

Actually you don't really need any music at all

... isn`t the beautiful and everlasting sound of surreal foot-steps and world-blasting awm shots music enough for all your listening pleasure?

It just goes to show you there just isn't enough music in maps, we can't get by with the paino music from cs_italy!
