[cTs] League Relaunch

Here's an interesting one. The [cTs] League website has been redone for their new season, and so the 270 members of the Christian Team Servers will be gearing up for some new competition.



Oh yeah. That "Christian" in their title has ramifications for play - they are "VERY adamant about keeping our Servers clean from swearing, vulgarity and pornography". So with cTs you will not only get to test your clan's mettle, but your game will be free of some of the more offensive aspects.

You can do a lot with almost 200 admins in 4 diffrent time zones. If you actually visit the server you'll see what I mean.

Nothing wrong bloodying somebody up and killing them. But using bad words or displaying the naked human body, how offensive.

The violence in the game is not real. It's pixels on a screen, nothing more. But bad language and porn certainly are real. All that we ask from players on our servers is that they respect our rules, whether they agree with them or not. That's not too much to ask, is it?

The gaming industry's stance on gaming violence is that it is, indeed, simply a game (although there are instances of psychological repercussions that stem from gaming violence). If that were the case, then, restrictions on gaming would have already overrun the nation.



As it stands, though, pornography and profanity do directly affect the decency of online play and even likely more so than the notion of violence, though.

No one forces religion on our servers. We do have members there if people want to discuss those things in our forums or through messenger programs. We have non-religious members as well as members of other religions. We just want a safe, clean place for people to have fun, especially for our younger members. Our members range from 6 years old to over 40.

flank, you're welcome to play in our server without having religion pushed onto you. As Valkyrie said, we're just proving a place among the other servers away from the swearing and porn sprays.



We follow Jesus Christ, and we try to keep the servers as clean as we can for you all to play and enjoy. You don't need to cuss to just have some fun :P
