    Ad System Updates

CS-Nationalists CS-Nationalist only feature now have the ability to enable skyscraper ads on preferences page. You may ask yourself, Who the hell would enable ads? Well we actually added this feature to admins like myself could view the site like most of our visitors do, but if you're a CS-Nationalist CS-Nationalist only feature and want to see all the great, awesome ads you're missing out on, go check out your preferences page and turn on the fun. CS-Nationalists CS-Nationalist only feature are members of CS-Nation who have paid a low, one-time fee to access various special features.

Speaking of ads, users of the site will notice pop-ups and full page ads are now a thing of the past. While we're by no means a completely advertising-free website, hopefully our ads won't annoy users but at the same time will open their eyes to some exciting offers and services we advertise for. We ask that our visitors please disable any banner ad blockers for the csnation.net domain. We're a small, self-supporting website and we could use everyone's support!

Now, completely out of left field, I want to inform all of you that our Google rank has dropped pretty low since our move to csnation.net. If you want to help out, please consider linking to us. Any link is good, but try to include "Counter-Strike" in the link text somewhere.

I do appreciate the lack of the more annoying ads, and it's good to see ads more focused to the page you're on (ads for game servers, CS/slanted ads, etc.)

One of the things I hate worst about ads is when they annoy you to get what they want. Flashing lights, 'you've won', or when it looks like a window and tries to tempt you to hit 'close' or whatever...

*shrugs* I appreciate the lack of being on gamespy's annoying ad network.

i still fail to see how having a bunch of ads will bring any revinue to anyone, but okay.

ps: whats a good ad blocker out there? i just use a popup ad blocker.
