    Torbull Interview

Core E-Sports has conducted another fine interview, this time with Torbull from Team 3D, who has recently unveiled a brand new site design. The interview is comprised of questions concerning the previous Steam updates, recent performances by 3D, expansion possibilities and much more. Here, have a sampler:
core`bushyL The inevitable question: We were all very surprised to see 3D eliminated so early in the CPL tournament. What went wrong this time around?

[3D]-Torbull: Well it wasn't a lack of preparation or a lack of heart or desire. We simply didn't execute what we had been practicing during the ten day bootcamp beforehand. Our strategies seemed unpolished and we just seemed out of sync. We didn't win the 1v1 and 2v2 gun battles that we usually do and when you play against the top teams in the world that is enough to eliminate you earlier than you hoped for. We have been practicing hard since CPL and we took it as a learning experience and we look forward to the chance to "redeem" ourselves at CXG.
There are some great questions asked found within this interview, so if you are curious as to what they are, then go and click this link right here.

    Torbull Interview

Gaming Eye has conducted a rather extensive interview with none other than Craig Levine, otherwise known as Torbull from Team 3D, and founder of the E-Sports Entertainment Association. The nice read contains some bits of humor, future plans, daily routines, and much more.
What are you're plans for the future? CAL-I and CPL Summer? Maybe we get to see 3D in Europe for ESWC?

We will definitely be competing in CAL and at CPL. We will also be attending qualifiers for ESWC and WCG USA and hopefully attending the finals of both of them. With the support from CompUSA and NVIDIA we are also looking at some other smaller European events. You can expect to see us anywhere there is top notch competition, a big draw, or large prizes!
There is plenty more to be read and discovered. Interested? If so, you should definitely click here for the interview.

      Torbull Interview

ESReality conducted a lengthy and informative interview with Torbull from the fresh Team 3D. The nice read contains background on the E-Sports Entertainment Association, 3D itself, CPL, Korean women, and much more. Here is an excerpt from this fine interview:
What would you add or have changed in Counter-Strike and why?

I would make every game CS DM! I finally got a chance to play it and it was a lot of fun. But hmm, I would like to see the game speed increased to make it a little faster paced with some more action. I have heard a lot about "charge only" events where the maps are time based and teams have to score as many Terrorist (offense) rounds as possible and I think it would be cool to experiment with that format a little more.
Who knew "old school 7v7, timed, de_dust matches in RiTD" provided the most fun out of all for Torbull? If you're dying to find out what is in store for you, there is only one way to find out.

        Torbull Interview

Amped eSports features their latest interview with Craig Levine (aka Torbull) from Team 3D as another fine addition to their "Through the Eyes of: A Manager's Tale" series.
AmpedNews: Do you think gamers can be looked at as "athletes"? If so, why?

Absolutely. We compete against other top players in our discipline and strive to be the best. The term athlete doesn't have to be associated with physical activities. Formula 1 and NASCAR are perfect examples of how drivers (athletes) use reflexes and hand eye coordination to race their cars (technology) against the best in the world. How is gaming much different?
A simple click here will lead you to even more goodness.

          Torbull Interview

With all the numerous events transpiring in the eSports scene in America, eSLive spoke with Craig "Torbull" Levine, manager of Team 3D and founder of E-Sports Entertainment Association regarding certain issues.
Will team 3D be switching to Counter-Strike: Source at some point? Do they enjoy it at all?

We didn't have much experience with it, to be honest, and from the experience we've had the game is not ready for competitive play, whether it's online or for 50 000$. It's just not there yet, I think it will be eventually but until it's at that point and enjoyable to play our existing players wont be playing it. We'll be evaluating it as the updates come and see where it is, at the end of the day we're here to have a good time and we won't be forced fed a game based on what sponsors, leagues or whatever want us to play. We're going to play what we have fun and enjoy playing; we want to have fun with it. In its present state it's not a fun game to play competitively on
Although a free registration is required, this is an insightful interview that is worth the extra few seconds in signing up.
