    1 Steam Server = 2 WON(3110) Servers.
Not exactly... performance really was really f*ck*d up in 3111, and still was a WON version.

This update is great news. Our duel 3.06 GHz Xeon Linux server hangs around 70% CPU usuage with just 10 players.
Lol, thats really fun... it seems that HLDS runs like crap over p4/xeons. Ppl reports that P3 were quite better for HLDS...

I'm hoping this update will make me lag less. I've been tweaking the rate command and monitoring the net_graph too much to have any actual CS fun.

Not really the linux code for HL right now is so poor that if you are running VAC that is probably pretty accurate, I know with a Dual 2.66 it uses about 80-85% routinely.

For all those people complaining about a 'missing' wednesday update, would you rather they had released an update and it had been full of bugs?

                    wow VAC updated.

I hope this cuts out at least some of the hackers!

I think it has, most of the hacks are now detected, though two have already been updated, which leads me to believe that VAC is still using string searches...
