here's some education for you, since obviously this was not a typo and you think that your sentence is actually correct.
The homeless die because their too lazy to get an education
their is possessive - a noun modifier. lazy is an adjective, not a noun, thus being the case you used "their" incorrectly. instead, you should have opted for the appropriate "they're/they are."Comment

Well congratulations, you have all methodically and logically dissolved this mans life into nothingness. There are millions of other people who have had no such help, and many more who don't even have anyone to ask for help anyway. And it seems that we even have documentation of other scams in the CS community. Clearly because some one at some time has been scammed before, that is exactly what will happen again... And of course because millions of other people also have terrible medical problems and don't get donations from us, he shouldn't either! And besides, the real problem here is that the governments wont help, between the socialized Canadian health care, and the abundance of American funded groups with catchy little acronyms, he should find his own damn money. Ya let the man die!
Or...
We could try to trust in the people involved instead of the past, and maybe we could save even one life, instead of saving none. Maybe those other millions of people have found means to help themselves, maybe not. But those other millions did not ask for our help did they? But his family and friends did ask us. They asked us to help save this one man, not all of them.
I would love to be able to help everyone with cancer, everyone that is sick, every one dieing. But I can't. I can however, help this one man. He may not be the most ill, or the least capable of funding his own treatments, but I for one will not turn him away because of it. When my mother had cancer, we managed. We raised the money ourselves, but it would have been many prayers answered if we had received even a little help from our community. I may not live down the block from this man, but the people that, in his name issued, a plea for help considers myself, and everyone else here, close enough members of his community to share the pain with. I wonder though, so few here are willing to help him. What if you had his illness. Could you pay for the treatments? What if you couldn't? Who would you turn to if all else failed? I hope the answer to that question isn't our tightly-nit community, because clearly we are all so proud of our bonds that we can brag all day about our nice little community. How we're all friends. How we're all good sports. How we're all willing to help each other.
But hey, he is only one man, and it could be a scam. I suppose it is safer for us to take the chance that we aren't letting a man die.Comment

I would shut your mouth if I were you. Calling English people communists? Don't get us fucking started on you americans.
1st, Its not called social conscience, its called SOCIALISM. The homeless die because they are too lazy to get an education, get a job, and buy food. The useless dont deserve help if they refuse to help themselves. Damn communist.
2nd, I don't believe it is a scam, thus, i will be sending what a i can.
3rd, Canadian medicare takes months to approve anything, and that could possibly be too late for him.Comment

No, I don't believe in astrology or any water with memory (wtf)...
dkpowers:
you probably also believe in astrology and water with memory. get a grip on life, because you obviously think you are smarter than all the docters in the whole world together. you're talking biological, and what's more important, social rubbish.
But tell me, what disease has the most "miraculous recoveries"? Cancer. Getting a grip on life is something the cancer patients should do. If they can't or don't want to do it, they die. No amount of chemo, surgery or radiation will help. They are futile. The medical industry just gets a load of income from cancer patients that then die after a few months... it is all business.
Cancer dude, if you're reading this, get a hold on your life. Something is making you sick and it isn't the cigarettes or any other material stuff. Move out, get a new job, go fishing, change the scene and the people around you.Comment

I feel people shouldn't so easily consider this a scam. My site and I have been getting posted on CSNation for a long time, why would I make this up? Although that could be considered irrelevent, the point is that I'm always been trustworthy with the community and I intend to continue to.

i fully believe you and that will exists and that he is a very ill and unfortunate person. however, i do not know who you are, what you site is, and what your personal connectionto will is. also, the person who mde a post about the paypal account, came out of nowhere, so to be hounest i don't trust that paypal account. maybe you should give a little more information to avoid negative reactions.
dkpowers, you are now saying that the environment that will is in and the people around him are the reason he has braincancer, and if he dies, it is basically his own fault because his life sucks. even if that is true, it seems a very harsh and offending thing to say.Comment
