Codename Gordon: Half-Life Sidescroller

We're not a Half-Life fansite, but this is pretty interesting. Codename Gordon is a 2D sidescroller based off of Half-Life. It will be released through Steam "soon":

Codename Gordon, a new side scrolling adventure through the Half-Life universe, will be coming soon to all Steam customers. Created by Nuclearvision Entertainment, Codename Gordon takes players through dozens of levels inspired by Half-Life and Half-Life 2, challenges players to a slew of puzzles, and showcases many of the familiar creatures in an all new, 2 dimensional playing field.

I'm not sure what cliffe means by "customers", but it looks to be a free bonus to Steam users. Here are some shots:

Looking at those screenshots, I realised that HL would have worked really well as a 2d scroller, like Super Metroid or something. Can't wait to play it.
