IGN Previews CS:CZ

The people over at IGN.com have a nice little hands-on preview of the newest, Turtle Rock version of Counter-Strike: Condition Zero. Here's a little gem from the article:

The chatter is really what sells this experience. These bots actually talk to each other as human players would, just without the profanity and racial slurs. They mention where they are, what they're doing, who they're engaging and whether or not they hear anything suspicious. And they do at all with a kind of irregularity that keeps it from seeming mechanical.

Bot-tastic! While IGN does not specifically say they have received official word from Valve or Turtle Rock, they go on to say that Condition Zero should be coming out early this year. You can read the rest of the article over at the IGN website.

OK article, but nothing really new. Too bad nobody can tell us anything pertaining to if and when it will ever see the light of day (or rather, the laser-probed darkness of my CD-ROM drive).

Bwahahaha. Does anyone remember that day when IGN looked like Ronald Mcdonald sh*tted all over it? I don't really trust IGN on anything, and I agree, at this point they might as welll scrap CZ.
