    i'view: the_family_god

Remember Militia and Militia II? The well-known Counter-Strike machinima series was the brainchild of Dan Frome, better known as the_family_god. Exo interviewed Dan on his new project, ClanWars. A taste:
CS-Nation: What have you personally done thus far with ClanWars?
tfg: I wrote the story and produced a detailed storyboard of the film. I gathered mappers to make a suitable map for the movie. I gathered a modeller to create custom character models. There was a lot of preproduction work for ClanWars, mostly because it was supposed to have a lot of new technology involved. Then I asked Ian and William from the Chipmunk Ninjas to direct the film. I work closely with them, overseeing the editing process. I'll also be composing the soundtrack, and voice-acting a character in the film.
There's much more in our new interview! Have at you!

This will be good. Militia 2 was great, these can only get better with each release.

All Matrix movies were equally entertaining. (IMHO)

Chipmunk Ninjas are spin off of the now dead CS-Radio so I am surprised Riz is letting this get this much front page time since he really doens't like CS-Radio.

Great read. If he says that Militia II was unorganized, and he also used better software than Militia II, then I can't wait for this movie. I also would like to see what he could do with the HL2 engine. I bet his work will be amazing!

I don't think there will be another big movie released by TFG, I think he's moved on to his big real-life films.

Another reason why he passed on the project? Agree/Disagree?
