New Steam Update

A new Steam update has been released:

• suspended preloading of condition zero unless user has already purchased the game
  
  
• changed account name creation to disallow non-standard characters
  
  
• optimized startup time for installations that included more than one account
  
  
• improved authentication to handle steam "tickets" which had become invalid

The big news, however, is the release of Counter-Strike: Condition Zero. After years in development, the game is finally hitting store and Steam shelves. Users who ordered Condition Zero on Steam will have to restart their clients in order to access the game.



CS:CZ will be released at approx. 2 AM Pacific time, which is 50 minutes from the time of this post.

Damn, why did they have to patch up the useless wasting of bandwidth and harddrive space by automatically pre-loading CZ. I Valve is going soft on us.

Watch it be pushed back to 3 AM. Hahaha just kidding. Its finally coming out, but the excitement of its release is not there (for me at least)... Oh well I'll probably find myself picking it up anyways.

I have CZ already, I received the copy last week! I got it earlier because I pre-ordered from the retail shop. I've finished the Single-Player, but I haven't finish the Deleted Scenes Missions. The Deleted Scenes are awesome! You guys should give a try! And the new maps are just great!

well after playing for a bit..i have to say that the new textures are very nice and the bots do get better the longer you play and they are very good..for being bots after all...



but in all fairness it is pretty much the exact game for multiplayer as regular cs and i expected that but many people in game bitch about paying 30 bones for the same thing they already have for free...im content tho and cant wait till i get on some decent "no lag" Servers...so to tomorrow..i bid you adieu
