Although the main Counter-Strike tournament is now unfortunately cancelled, Gamers.nu has reported that organizers of Cyber X Games have decided to create an exhibition Counter-Strike tournament. It consists primarily of 12 top seeded teams and a $10,000 grand prize for the winners of this tournament, and not the promised $100,000 for the original CXG Tournament. The following matches will now be played out on a randomly selected map from de_cbble, de_dust2, de_inferno, de_nuke, or de_train:

Team64 vs SK

3D vs Mibr

4Kings vs TAG

TheTitans vs Mouzesports

Adrenaline vs NoA

XiT (xP.se) vs Destination Skyline

iFate vs Forsaken

Lastly, there is to be a planned "grudge" match between USA and Europe, or an all-star game of sorts. The five finest from America will duke it out with Europe's best as well.

North America: Rambo, Shaguar, icesalmon, Kikoo, and bloodshot



Europe: Hyper, Spawn, Mangiacapra, Blizzard, and Vesslan

CO matches would actually be interesting to see live especially between good teams. I want to see the Euro vs American match live because it's CO(icesalmon is on the team...wtf). Oh yeah, there's no hltv even though it would finally be cool hltv to see live.

Kikoo is really good. Pava is good too but kikoo seemed better in miami for those crappy qualifiers. You wouldn't even have time to stop your strafe before being awped.
